Johnny has been involved in various forms of racing since the age of 12. The majority of his racing
career was spent in the highly competitive arena of motocross, super-cross, and grand prix racing
events. During his early years Johnny achieved a milestone when he completed a very solid year of
racing by capturing a 3rd place finish in the California State Championships. Continued achievements
brought sponsorships from such organizations as; Montclair Yamaha, Pro-Circuit, Works Connection,
and Race Tech Suspensions. Johnny’s racing expanded to various tracks around California and
Nevada, competing in the highly visible World Mini Championships held each year in Las Vegas,
Nevada. Unfortunately, a devastating knee injury cut Johnny’s career short, ending a very promising
future. Not to be deterred, Johnny began competing in local carting events to improve his skills and
understanding of asphalt track racing along with the various skills and techniques required as he shifted
from 2 wheeled dirt track racing to racing on paved track surfaces. He is now focused at racing in the
highly competitive NASCAR late model division. With his drive and determination he is confident in
achieving the same level of success that he experienced in motorcycle racing.
